clean room roomy en suite friendly staff
we were told we would find riverside rooms. but sat nav directed us to a faded sign for bitterne park hotel. the staff were friendly. our room was clean, roomy. the en suite bathroom was nice. we found tea, coffee, a microwave.
spaces were limited. and the signage lighting stayed on all night.

The bar has a funky style, perfect for an evening drink. it also serves various african foods, but we didn't sample them. various nationalities provide surrounding eating places. That offers diverse culinary options.

fabulous garden tasty wrap comfy bed
The pub garden IS fabulous. I ate at the pub and had the best wrap i have ever tasted. The lady greeted us and got our room ready early for us. the bed was sooo comfy.

the room was clean enough i guess, and the shower was actually pretty good.
I arrived, expecting a hotel, but it turns out there is no reception at all and nobody around to help. Also the carpets were surprisingly filthy!

large room comfortable bed window frame missing chairs
the room was a nice large room. the bed proved comfortable. i found the shower powerful.
the room required upkeeping. paint was coming off the window frame and dirt was on the ceiling. there were also no chairs in the room.

the hotel offered excellent value. my room was clean and tidy. i found the en-suite shower worked very well. charlotte was very friendly and cute .
the signage lighting outside my window stayed on all night. this caused a glow in the room, a slight inconvenience.

the room was large with big windows.
I found no clear entrance to the building and was directed to a rear gate. the signage lighting outside my window stayed on all night. This made it hard to sleep in the glow.
